After an All-American football career at Williams College and a B.A. in Economics, Andrew Allen, a native Vermonter, took the reins of County Data Corporation, a database marketing firm. After running the company for five years, Andrew sold it to InfoUSA in 1996, and led the transition company for another two years. Since then, he has been an active angel investor and overall “start up guy” in companies such as eplresidential.com, Visual Legacy Group, Fat Cat Inc, Santa Night and CollectorOnline.com.
Andrew is fueled by a passion for making small to medium sized businesses successful, and founded ilovermont.com (now Vermont Design Works) in August 1999 with the goal of helping on and offline companies grow and compete. Andrew received the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce's 2002 Rising Star award.
