NEW CLIENT: Equal Exchange
Vermont Design Works is proud to announce our newest client, Equal Exchange, Inc.!
In keeping with our strategy to work with socially-responsible and environmentally-conscientious organizations and businesses, VDW will embark on a partnership with Equal Exchange, a worker-owned cooperative from West Bridgewater, Massachusetts that sells fair-trade coffee and food products. Our first project for Equal Exchange will be a coffee flavor slector wizard, to allow website and Facebook users to pick from among Equal Exchange's packaged fair-trade coffee flavors.
Since its founding in 1986, Equal Exchnge has partnered with co-operatives of small-scale farmers who make their own
decisions on business and community matters.
Today, Equal Exchange continues to find new and powerful ways to build a
better food system. Our products now include fairly traded and organic
coffee, tea, chocolate and snacks from farmers all over the world,
including here in the United States.
