VDW employee, Jolee Main, will be teaching GDI’s Intro to HTML / CSS class at the end of January. This class is designed to teach the fundamentals of building a website from the ground up. No previous development experience is required to benefit from this class!
VDW would like to announce that we have moved the location of our offices to Burlington, Vermont. We’ll be located in the historic Kilburn and Gates building at the intersection of Pine Street and Kilburn Street in Burlington’s vibrant South End.
We will be closed on New Year’s day, January 1st 2016. We are back in the office with regular hours on Monday, January 4th.
Our office will be closed Friday, 12/25/15 for Christmas day. We will return with normal hours on Monday, 12/28/15.
This year, VDW began working with two new clients: Jericho Cafe & Tavern and Oppenheimer & Close. Both clients needed an upgrade to responsive websites that would provide visitors with an optimal web experience no matter what device or screen size they were using.
VDW has successfully launched the largest and longest-running project of our 15 year history with KSE Focus. This robust web application helps clients make business decisions by categorizing, searching, and digesting over 1,000,000 records of data.
Responsive web design is becoming the standard to ensure seamless functionality and appearance on any device. This fall, VDW launched two revamped, fully responsive websites for a couple of our long-time clients.
Vermont Code Camp is an amazing annual technology event happening this Saturday, September 19 at UVM’s Kalkin Hall. VDW is sponsoring the affair alongside many other tech-gurus in the area including Dealer.com, MyWebGrocer, C2, and Evolution HMC Technology.
It’s mid-July so it must be Flynn Series time again! And whenever the new Flynn Series site launches, you can be sure our web development team has been busy! As you may or may not know, Flynn Tix/Flynn Center is one of our oldest clients – one we’ve partnered with regularly for all of their web projects for over a decade, including the always popular Flynn Series site.
A collaborative effort between Vermont Public Radio and the Fairbanks Museum & Planetarium, Eye on the Sky is a Vermont weather resource that provides useful recreational, gardening and astronomical forecasts and much more. As part of the new Fairanks site, we were tasked with overhauling the Eye on the Sky site as well, including creating new archiving functionality as well as integration for forecast audio, along with a slew of other custom features.
