In keeping with its strategy to work with Vermont- and Northeast-based nonprofits to help them more effectively conduct business online and to more efficiently manage online resources, VDW will work with the Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) to build its new online portal. The system will be used by member organizations in northern New York, Vermont, and southern Quebec to track, update, and implement water quality improvement programs.
The website will feature the coordinated Lake Champlain management efforts report entitled “Opportunities for Action”. The LCBP has released its plan since 1996, and this project will bring the plan and collaboration to the Internet. The website will track opportunities, goals, assigned tasks, impementation progress, and more important proejct coordination data.
