With less than a week left before the 2014 Vermont Chamber Business & Industry EXPO, we thought it was time to tell you a bit about the event and what we'll be doing there this year.

Get ready for the 30th anniversary of the Vermont Chamber Business & Industry EXPO! This annual business to business trade show is scheduled for May 21 & 22, 2014. EXPO creates the perfect platform to network face to face with over 3,000 business leaders. Use this show to highlight your business and consider exhibiting.
Organized by the
Vermont Chamber, the three decades old EXPO is the region's largest B2B trade show, with nearly 200 exhibitors - including
Vermont Design Works, once again.

May 21 & 22, 2014 at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center, Burlington, VT
Show Hours:
- Wednesday, May 21, 10 am - 5 pm
- Thursday, May 22, 9 am - 4 pm
In addition to facilitating business connections as the Vermont's premier networking event, the EXPO will play host to a number of free 20 minute presentations in the new "
Momentum Center", as well as a variety of other panels, seminars and
events geared toward helping local businesses become more successful.

Andrew Allen will even be leading one of these Momentum Center seminars at 11:30 on Wed. 5/12. In "8 Web Essentials You Need Before Social Media", he'll cover the 8 aspects of an online presence you'll need to have in place before jumping into the fray of social media. These include an optimized website, tools to regularly publish new content (and why that’s important), and clear business goals to measure. Without these basics, there is little point investing your time in social media. While posting on these platforms may be fun, there's little value if you aren't driving followers to a conversion optimized website.
